Zero SR/F electric bike has been unveiled for the global markets. It is a naked streetfighter aimed towards performance and offers 322 kms riding range.
Zero Eletric motorcycle manufacturer has unveiled the new SR/F E-bike. It is available in two variants – Standard and Premium. If you look at this bike, you wouldn’t believe that it actually runs on an electric motor.
Zero SR/F is equipped with a ZF14.4 li-on battery pack, that is a newly developed unit. The company claims that the bike will offer a combined riding range of nearly 198 kilometers.
The new electric motor is capable of producing 110 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque. The top speed achievable on this motorcycle is up to 200 kmph. With the help of a proprietary concentric motor, the power is delivered to the rear wheel.

Zero SR/F can easily deliver a riding range of 259 kms. With an additional power tank, the riding range can be increased up to 322 kms. However, the power tank will be available later.
Zero offers two different chargers for the electric bike. The standard variant is equipped with a 3 kW charger, which charges the battery fully in 4.5 hours. The Premium variant gets a 6 kW charger, which only takes 2.5 hours for full charge.
The bike also offers different set of riding modes, including Street, Sport, Eco and Rain. 10 programmable custom modes are also offered, where the rider can change the torque delivery or engine response manually.

For suspension purposes, Zero SR/F uses 43mm SHOWA USD forks and 40mm adjustable spring preload with compression and rebound damping at the back.
At the front, the bike uses 320mm dual discs paired with 4-piston calipers at the front and a single disc brake at the back with single caliper. For additional safety, Bosch ABS, cornering brake control, traction control and drag torque control are offered.
As the company claims, Zero SR/F is the world’s first fully smart motorcycle. It gets a Cypher III operating system paired with an app and TFT colour screen. The riding modes, cruise control, heated grips and other features can be operated on-to-go.

The Standard variant has been priced at USD 18995 and the Premium variant goes for Rs USD 20995. If converted roughly into Indian rupees, the bike could cost nearly Rs 13 Lakhs.
