MG Motor India is working on a new inbuilt sterilisation technology for Hector and ZS EV. It will be more advanced than a regular air purifier.
The coronavirus pandemic is spreading swiftly and now we have more than 15,000 cases registered in India. The last 10,000 cases have come up in the past couple of weeks itself. Every other mainstream manufacturer is helping people with some or the other services.
MG Motor is developing a sterilisation technology with Medklinn to tackle the coronavirus. Both the companies are in the testing process of the Cerafusion technology, which will basically sterilize your entire cabin and keep it free of viral germs.
The technology utilizes oxygen to eliminate allergens, bacteria and other virus from the cabin. It will also completely sterilize the different surfaces inside a car. A couple of new cars come with air purifiers which can also prevent to some extent.

It will be more advanced than the air purifiers. As said earlier, this technology is currently under testing and will take some time. In near future, the cars would be manufactured with that so as to keep us secure from this coronavirus in future.
We all know coronavirus will take some time to vanish away from our planet. Since it is a viral disease, there are chances that it may comeback again, probably in a different form. Once developed, all the MG cars will come with that feature.
