As a result, such incidents are, unfortunately, rather common. Creta is the most popular mid-size SUV in the country. It has maintained that pole position for a while now. Some of the prime reasons for its massive success include stylish exterior, multiple powertrains, feature-rich cabin, latest tech, connectivity and convenience features among others. But it is not the safest vehicle in its class. Here are the details of this latest crash.

Youngsters Crash Hyundai Creta
This video comes from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel features content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents, as well as road safety. On this occasion, a shocking case emerged. As per the information in the video, a group of youngsters were travelling in their Creta in the evening. One can clearly see that they were overspeeding. In fact, at one point in the video, one could see them touching 130 km/h. This information comes from the video they were making, perhaps for their social media handles.

Suddenly, the driver lost control on a turn and hit the wall of the bridge. But the speed was so high that the vehicle didn’t come to rest. It went on hit a tree face-first. That is when it stopped. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in this crash and they got away with minor scratches. However, what is weird is that they are seen cracking jokes after the accident. A couple of them are sitting on the side of the road. One person is making the video narrating the entire episode. But there is no worry in their behaviour. It is quite shocking to see someone so happy after a horrible incident. The entire front section of the SUV is damaged.

What We Think
We vehemently disapprove of these foolish actions. Overspeeding is the biggest cause of road accidents in India and across the world. The big problem with these silly things people do is that they can harm innocent people and others on the road. It’s important that we start respecting the rules of the road and obeying them. We should also realize that this isn’t a good way to have a fun time with friends. If you see someone breaking the rules and putting everyone’s safety at risk, it’s important to tell the authorities so they can do something about it.
