Yezdi has launched three new motorcycles in India including an adventure bike and a roadster. Just like the original Yezdi models, the new bikes are based on the Jawa bike (likely Perak). They use the 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that offers a maximum power of 30 bhp and 29 Nm of torque. Yezdi has also added a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox. The new Yezdi Motorcycles come in three variants – Roadster, Scrambler, and Adventure. All new bikes are available for purchase through the 300+ dealerships across India. The new financial scheme by the brand will allow potential customers to bring home these bikes with a zero down payment. Furthermore, the lowest EMI is Rs 4,873 only. According to the new Yezdi Motorcycles Finance Scheme, you can choose the lowest EMI of Rs 4873 with a tenure of up to 4 years. While there is no down payment, the interest rate starts at 5.99% (Offer from IDFC).
The new Yezdi Roadster price starts at Rs 1.98 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.06 lakh. You can choose from multiple color options – Dark Smoke Grey, Dark-Hunter Green, Dark Steel Blue, Chrome Sin Silver, and Chrome Gallant Grey. The new Yezdi Scrambler comes with a starting price of Rs 2.05 lakh. You can choose from Fire Orange, Outlaw Olive, Yelling Yellow, Midnight Blue, Mean Green, and Rebel Red. On the other hand, the price of the new Yezdi Adventure starts at Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.19 lakh. It is available in three color options – Slick Silver, Mambo Blac, and Ranger Camo.
Yezdi (phonetic transcription of Czech language verb “jezdí) is a popular Indian motorcycle company. It was previously known as Ideal Jawa Ltd. The Mysore-based company is known for selling Jawa motorcycles (from 1960 to 1973). Now, the Yezdi brand is being revived by Classic Legends (they relaunched Jawa in 2018 and BSA earlier this year). The new Yezdi Roadking Scrambler and the Yezdi Adventure are expected to take on the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter and Himalayan, respectively. Both feature a new architecture with a higher load-bearing rear subframe.
