2018 Yamaha R15 V 3.0 Special Edition in Indonesia
The 2018 Yamaha R15 V3.0 spotted at a dealership in Indonesia features a black and gold dual-tone paint job. Cargloss Paint Works came up with the idea and even designed custom liveries for the bike. The alloys have been painted in gold as well to match the gold highlight done on the bike’s fairing. The fairing, fuel tank and headlamp cowl feature custom liveries to enhance the sporty character of the bike. The front fender adorns golden accent along with a Michelin sticker. As reported, the workshop used the water brush technique for the paint job.
The custom paint job obviously demands a premium over the standard version. While the stock version retails for IDR 34,500,000 (INR 1.54 lakh), the former demands about IDR 3 million (INR 13,500) worth of premium as a kit amounting to a total of IDR 35,100,000 (INR 1.58 lakh) for the custom model. All the prices indicated are inclusive of all taxes and are on-road prices. Considering the amount of work of custom paint and liveries installed on the R15 V3.0, we say it definitely is worth it and is a step in the right direction.

The custom paint job on the R15 V3.0 makes it stand apart from its clones but sadly the difference list ends there. There are no mechanical updates done to the bike. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The front of the R15 V3.0 features upside down forks while the rear adorns link-type monoshock. Disc brakes do their duty at both ends and the front disc expands to 282 mm.
