Yamaha has finally ended the suspense regarding the timeline for launch of new Yamaha R15 bike launch in India. As per the recent media report, the dealers and media has been invited on 6th of Sep 2011 for the launch of new Yamaha 15 in new Delhi. The bike has been under development and testing for about an year. Numerous spy pictures, test mules and graphics have been spotted and shared by the automobile journalists and publications in past one year. This is the time when the final suspense will be over. Although there are plenty of spy shots available, but the official unveiling is a much awaited moment for the potential buyers and fans.

Another suspense which still remains is the pricing. There is a speculation that Yamaha India may reduce the prices to make it more competitive in its segment and also create a differential in the price from the higher segment 250 CC bikes like Honda CBR 250R. The new looks and attractive pricing may mean larger sales volume and a strong comeback by Yamaha. Yamaha bikes are already very popular with India youth because of its high finish, sporty styling and distinctive looks. Also Yamaha bikes are a notch above in build quality compared to most of the competitors in India. Considering the quality and styling of Yamaha R15 2011 new model from the spy pictures, it also seems like a promising bike if it is priced right.
