Apparently, Yamaha MT-15 will be launched on 15th March 2018 at the Buddh International Circuit in Delhi NCR. The bookings for the bike have already begun.
The launch dates for Yamaha MT-15 are finally out! Reports confirmed by Yamaha officials say the launch date is 15th March at the BIC in Greater Noida.
The bookings for the bike have begun at many dealerships for amount ranging between Rs 5000-10000. Dealerships have confirmed that they will start getting the bike soon enough.
MT-15 has been spotted testing in India many times, under heavy camouflage. The bike has been showcased to dealers at an event, from which the presentation slides were leaked, confirming the launch.

Yamaha MT-15 is a naked street fighter, based on the parts of Yamaha R15 V3. So now, you can choose Yamaha performance between a relaxed riding position or a fully dedicated riding position.
For engine purposes, it uses a 155cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, putting out 19.3 BHP and 14.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Since, it will be equipped with the VVA system, you can expect pretty good mileage figures. R15 V3 during our road test delivered 50 kmpl, which you can expect from this bike as well.

The spotted test mules of MT-15 have revealed some information about the upcoming motorcycle. For starters, it gets conventional telescopic forks at the front, replacing the USD forks available in the Thai-spec version.
Features onboard will include a bug-shaped LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster from R15, LED tail lights and single step up seat.
Safety features onboard will include front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS setup as standard fitment. Recently, R15 V3 also received dual-ABS unit.

We expect Yamaha MT-15 to be priced around Rs 1.3 Lakhs. It will be placed near R15 V3 in terms of pricing, which goes for Rs 1.39 Lakhs. It will compete with the likes of KTM Duke 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Apache RTR 200.
