Yamaha FZ V3 has been spotted in a new black colour at a dealership yard. Reports say that the new version will be launched on 21st January, for sure.
Ahead of its most likely launch on 21st January, Yamaha FZ V3 has been spotted again. This time, it has been seen in a new black colour at a dealership stockyard.
With this, another colour variant has been spotted. It also gets a Blue colour option. The current Yamaha FZ gets Blue and Red colour options.
The new version of FZ will sport many upgrades. It will also look a bit different from the current V2. Moreover, FZ V3 will now, borrow some design cues from Yamaha FZ25.

The Yamaha FZ V3 will get LED headlamp units, replacing the normal ones in the current generation. The headlamp housings covers are divided into two parts, for the high beam and low beam.
It also gets new set of turn indicators and a revised front mud guard. At the back, it gets a single seat instead of third seat. It copies the exhaust muffler and short tail section from FZ25.
Most important, Yamaha FZ V3 will now come equipped with Antilock Braking System (ABS) as standard fitment. The safety feature comes in response to the upcoming safety regulations and norms.

We expect Yamaha to equip FZ V3 with a single-channel ABS. We think, there might be two variants for sale – Single Disc with Single ABS and dual-disc with Single ABS and Rear Lift-off protection (RLP).
Mechanically, FZ V3 will continue with the same 149cc fuel-injected engine. The engine produces 13 BHP at 8,500 RPM and 12.8 Nm at 6000 RPM of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Yamaha FZ delivers an average mileage of 50 kmpl. It uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear.

As per our expectations, the prices of the bike will increase by around Rs 5,000. Currently, it is priced at Rs 88,042 (ex-showroom).
