Yamaha Indian has launched the new 2012 Yamaha FZ-S Fiery Orange Black Colour with new and improved styling and features. It is not merely a new colour or graphic change, rather there are many improvements and features in the new Yamaha FZ-S which have been added to the new model. Some of these key features of new 2012 Yamaha FZ-S is the new sporty colour which makes it look like a racing bike, the FZ-S is powered by a 153 CC 4 stroke air cooled single cylinder engine with 14 PS of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. The new 2012 Yamaha FZ-S gets new graphics, larger seats, new grab rails, high suspension travel monoshock suspensions at the rear for improved balance and handling. There is a wide 17 inch rear tyre for improved road grip and confident ride. Among other styling elements are distinct looking exhaust muffler (silencer) which not only looks different, but also is quite sophisticated engineering design to keep the engine running smooth while keeping the sound low.

There is a complete LCD display digital console at front with different readings like speed, RPM, trip meter, fuel level indicator etc. laid out in a nice looking sleek console. The rear seat size has been increased for better comfort of the pillion rider with trendy looking grab-rails behind the pillion seat. The size of the rear fender has been increased to keep the mud or water from splashing behind the bike. The rear section above the tail lamp also gets some colour treatment which makes it look soothing to eyes. The alloy wheels also get sleek orange lining around the rims which gives it a sporty appeal as it gets along better with the overall colour tone and sporty character. There is a lower chain guard added to the new FZ-S along with the upper side chain protector which covers most of the chain preventing any loose clothing to get stuck in the chain of the bike.

The Yamaha FZ-S comes with a carbureted engine which is coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission, it comes in both kick start and electric start options. In terms of braking, it has disk brakes at front and large drum brakes at rear. The front suspension is conventional telescopic hydraulic suspension while the rear is an oil charged monoshock suspension. The new FZ-S has a kerb weight of 135 Kg with 160 mm ground clearance and 1334 mm wheelbase. It comes in four attractive colour options which includes the new Fiery Orange, Competition White, Sunset Red and Black Cyber Green.
New Yamaha FZ-S 2012 Price In India
The new Yamaha FZ-S 2012 is priced at Rs. 71,280 ex-showroom Delhi which will make its approximate on-road price around Rs. 78,000.
