This off-road challenge in the world’s cheapest electric car is extremely adventurous. EVs are clearly paving the way for the future of mobility. It is fascinating to witness how some of the most affordable EVs on the planet are making their way into the lives of the regular public. On top of that, people are putting them through various tests to analyse their performances. This is one such case where vloggers take a tiny electric car to an off-road trail. The vehicle in question is Chang Li which sells for about $1,000 (Rs 85,000).

They want to take it off-road and travel a distance of 100 miles (161 km). However, they perform tons of modifications to ensure that it doesn’t break down. For this trip, they take a lot of eatables, a tent, a gas stove, and many components for thorough camping. They take the car on extremely complicated trails. In fact, they even met someone on the road who was surprised to see them attempt this terrain in this car. During their journey, they put the car through immense abuse. It hit the rocks on the roads on multiple occasions. In fact, they also had to pull it at some places and use a board to glide over many obstacles. All in all, they were able to complete the entire trail without any major setbacks. Sure, some parts of the car were broken but it never stopped working.

Author’s Note
While this is a thoroughly entertaining video, I must advise my readers to never try this. Such adventures can quickly turn fatal in no time. Unless there is an emergency, you must not attempt such feats. This is especially true when you don’t have a hardcore off-roading vehicle. To travel on such surfaces in a compact car is an open invitation to trouble. Make sure to not imitate such vloggers. You can watch such content for entertainment. However, mimicking them would be foolish.
