Woman Skoda Slavia Owner Faces EPC Error
Harsha mentions that she often travels during odd hours for her job and had a safe car in mind when she decided to opt for Slavia. The premium-mid-size sedan is famous for being a solid product with dynamic driving characteristics. However, her dreams soon got converted into nightmares with issues cropping up within the first month of delivery. While driving the car, she suddenly noticed a lag in responses while accelerating and braking and the ERROR: Auto Start/Stop and EPC lights were displayed on the instrument cluster. To get it fixed, Harsha sent the car to the service station and received it back the next day after a software update.

However, after just 11 days, she encountered the EPC error and sent the car to the service station again and got a courtesy Kushaq instead. Now, after almost 20 days, he car is parked at the service station and she is frustrated that there is no transparency regarding the status of her car. She lists out the following issues with her new car which need fixing:
- EPC Error
- Auto Start-Stop
- System Voltage Low (P0562)
- Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input (P0113)
Harsha explains that the service centre has cleared these issues on probable causes but no root cause analysis has been done. In addition to that, the service centre has asked her to go through the manual that says that she will need to bring it to the service station whenever EPC or other errors crop up. She highlights the fact that all these errors have occurred even before the car has completed 1000 km. She says that now it will be hard to trust whether her car is completely fixed or not and hence, she wants higher Skoda officials (including Zac Hollis) to intervene and get her a refund or a brand new car.
