Wife Gives Husband Mahindra Thar as a Gift

As soon as they arrive in front of the ready-to-be-delivered Thar, she takes off the blindfold to catch her husband’s reaction. Needless to say, the husband is over the moon with the new gift. The Thar in this case is black in colour. Unable to control his expressions, the husband hugs her wife affectionately.

Mahindra Thar comes with 2 engine options, a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel, and a 2-litre turbo-petrol. In the current-gen model, the oil burner makes 130 PS/320 Nm of peak figures while the petrol makes 150 PS/320 Nm of max figures. Transmission options for both the powertrains are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic with a low-range box. You also get a transfer case and a mechanically locking centre differential. The prices range from Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 16.29 lakh, ex-showroom.

The 5-door version of the Thar has been spotted testing multiple times and the launch might well be around the corner. It aims to remedy the practicality concerns a lot of people have with the existing 3-door Thar. At the moment, only 4 people can sit in the SUV and the boot space is almost non-existent.
