It is astonishing what aftermarket car modification houses are able to achieve
The widest Jeep in the world is constructed with two SUVs combined together. Yes, it is as bizarre as it sounds. The internet is full of weirdly customized vehicles from all over the world. Note that while most car modifications are illegal in India, this is not the case in the international markets. In Dubai, where this unique Jeep was spotted, people go for extreme alterations on their cars. For now, let us take a look at the details of this surprising case.
Widest Jeep in the World
The visuals for this case stem from saberdrives on Instagram. In all honesty, this seems hard to believe despite looking at it clearly. Two old Jeep SUVs have been merged together to create a single unit. As per some information on the internet, this modified Jeep belongs to a diplomat in Rabat, Morocco. The car shop was able to weld two SUVs together and used parts from a third car to make the large hood. Notably, it has a 24-slot grille, clearly something you don’t see every day.
In the visuals, we are able to witness this in the flesh. Someone was driving it on a sandy surface. Needless to say, manoeuvring this monster around needs a specific set of driving skills. As a result, the man is driving it at low speeds. Also, it is difficult to find instances of operating it on regular public roads due to safety concerns. Hence, I would imagine people would mostly use these as fun vehicles in remote locations. In any case, it is interesting to see this unique vehicle.
My View
I must admit this has to be among the weirdest car modifications I have come across in recent times. Also, it is not exactly clear what the purpose of this vehicle is. Still, car buffs often don’t need any reason to create strange vehicles. The aim is often to make their vehicles stand out in the crowd. To achieve that, car owners are willing to go to any lengths. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
