TVS has now bought the Race Edition of its popular scooter, Ntorq 125. The new Edition looks sexier and more butch than the already sporty standard variant.
TVS is riding high on the success of Ntorq 125, as it is one of the most popular 125cc scooters in India. At an asking price of Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), it undercuts a lot of 125cc scooters like Honda Grazia, Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Burgman Street.
With the new TVS Ntorq Race Edition, it has spiced up the game with some cosmetic upgrades and minor feature additions as well. It is not that the standard Ntorq looked sporty, but the new edition looks even better.
New Styling
The Race Edition comes with new graphics, like Red racing flags on the front apron, side fender and towards the tail portion. On the side panel, you also get the ‘Race Edition’ Logo.
New Features
New Features onboard include LED headlamps, T-shaped LED DRLs and Hazard Lamps as well. The existing features include the fully digital instrument console, Bluetooth connection, Turn-By-Turn Navigation, Engine Kill Switch And more.
Colour Options
The TVS Ntorq Race Edition comes in three-tone colour options, which includes Matte Black, Metallic Black And Metallic Red.
Price
The Race Edition comes in at Rs 62,995, which is nearly Rs 3,000 costlier than the regular Disc brake variant. Ntorq is also available with drum brakes, but only for the Standard variant, priced at Rs 58,872 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
Other Specifications
There’s no change to the other parts of the scooter, just to clarify that. It continues with the same 124.7cc SOHC engine, that produces 9.1 BHP at 7500 RPM and 10.5 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. For braking, it now gets drum brakes on both the ends as an option, while earlier, it only came with front disc brake and rear drum brake setup.
