Hyundai showcased the Grand i10 Nios Turbo Petrol at the Auto Expo 2020, which gets minor cosmetic upgrades and a completely new engine.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo Petrol will soon hit the roads. The sportier version of the Nios was showcased at the Expo in a production-ready form. To all the rumours that have been coming up, the Nios Turbo is slightly different from the global-spec N Line Nios.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The motor first came with Venue and then came on the Aura sedan. The latter gets a detuned version of the engine, producing 100 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque.
Same will be the case with Nios Turbo. It will produce the same power figures as of Aura. Further, it will only get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The regular petrol and diesel variants get an AMT gearbox as well.

Inside the cabin, it will get sporty black interiors with red accents on the centre console and dashboard. Like Aura, the Nios Turbo Petrol will only be available in the top-spec Astra and Sportz Trim. Features list will be the same as of the regular petrol and diesel variants.
Expect the Nios Turbo to demand Rs 60,000 more than the regular variants. As of now, the Nios is priced starting off at Rs 5.05 Lakhs to Rs 7.19 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The range-topping variant with turbo engine can be priced around Rs 7.7 to 7.8 Lakhs.
