Fresh leaked documents show that the Maruti Spresso will come in a total of 9 variants, likely to be priced starting off at Rs 3.5-4 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
More deets on the upcoming Maruti micro-SUV are incoming daily. Now, the leaked registration document of the Maruti S-Presso variants suggests the entire list of variants, engine specifications and dimensions.
The document says that Maruti S-Presso will come BS-6 compliant, with the 1.0 Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. The power of the engine is 67 BHP at 5500 RPM and the torque will be 93 Nm.
The document also says that the Maruti SPresso will come with a 5-speed Manual Gearbox and an AMT (AGS) gearbox as well, but only for the top-spec two variants. The same unit that comes on WagonR, Celerio and Alto K10 will be used.

Maruti S-Presso will be available in nine variants in total, which are as follows:
- STD (O)
- LXi
- LXi (O)
- VXi
- VXi(O)
- VXi+
- VXi AGS
- Vxi (O) AGS
- VXi+ AGS
The standard variant will come with the mandatory safety features and that’s it. This variant is likely to miss out on the Power Steering and air condition as well. This particular variant-lineup is the same as the Alto.
The Gross weight of the S-Preso will be 1170. It will come with 13-inch tires as well as 14-inch tires as well. The S-Presso will be 3665mm long, 1520mm wide and have a wheelbase of 2380mm.

The top-end variants of the Maruti SPresso will get features such as 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Front Power Windows And More. The VXi variant will get the newly introduced Smart Play Studio Dock.
So, the launch of the Maruti SPresso is set for 30th of September. With an expected pricing of Rs 3.5 Lakhs to Rs 5.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom), it will go against the Renault Kwid And Datsun Redi-GO.
