VW Virtus in Kochi Traffic
This post comes from danish_alfaaz07 on Instagram. It captures a rather bizarre act. A Virtus is seen arriving at a traffic light. There is a long queue of vehicles. Suddenly, its tyres move inwards and a flame appears underneath the tyres to launch it in the air. Within a matter of seconds, the mid-size sedan launches into air and moves away from the traffic. Needless to say, this was a creative 3D effect by a digital artist. It has been done so incredibly well that one can think that this scene belongs to a high-budgeted Hollywood movie. The visual effect in this case is quite commendable.

Author’s Note
Now we generally come across digital renditions of cars in a different way. However, using technology to come up with such a bizarre version of the vehicle is quite refreshing to see. The artist has merged the digital aspect with the reality, essentially creating an Augmented Reality (AR) setup. We encounter such cases in movies. We must accept that the sheer seamless integration of the visual effects onto a real environment is quite commendable. It makes things quite interesting indeed. We shall keep an eye out for more such cases in the future.
