Digital automobile designers have upped their games to such a level that something like an RS widebody concept of the VW Virtus looks so compelling and doable.
Zephyr_Designz and Bimble Designs have developed a mouth-watering RS widebody concept for the VW Virtus. Virtus is the latest premium mid-size sedan from VW based on the MQB A0 IN platform. It replaces the Vento in our market. VW aims to revive the declining sales in the sedan segment. With that, it wants to establish itself as a prominent player in our market. VW and Skoda have developed this platform specifically for emerging markets like India to expand their footprints. Let us see how it performs on the sales charts after the launch.

VW Virtus RS Widebody Concept
First off, the blood-red paint scheme chosen for the first iteration is quite attractive and accentuates the sportiness of the sedan. At the front, there are massive air vents integrated with the massive radiator grille to give a single aerodynamic appearance, the blacked-out grille and silver skid plate add to the adventurous characteristics, and the slight headlight treatment also compliments the racing traits well. The alloy wheels have been painted black with red brake callipers. The widebody once becomes apparent once you glance through the side profile. The sharp creases and black side pillar with chrome garnish add to the charm of it all.
The rear area of the sedan looks even more promising. The boot lid spoiler accentuates the tail section multifold, the shark fin antenna brings in the modern element, the extended rear fender covers the wheel arches quite well, and the rear end is dominated by a heavy diffuser with a quad exhaust setup with chrome tips. One can’t help but appreciate the ingenuity at the rear. All in all, this digitally modified Virtus looks like a performance sedan from its German carmakers.
