A VW Taigun owner recalls his struggles with the AC issue in the SUV. Taigun has been selling in decent numbers. Based on the Indianized MQB A0 IN platform, Taigun was brought by Volkswagen to rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in our market. People took quite a liking to the driving characteristics of the Taigun, as it is a strong point of VW cars. However, there were some problems with the SUV as well. One such issue was regarding the inconsistency related to the AC.

VW Taigun Owner Recalls the AC Issue
The video has been uploaded by Daksh Agnihotri on YouTube. The YouTuber interacts with the Taigun owner. He was among the first owners to raise the issue of poor zircon performance in Taigun. Thereafter, the company took notice and has assured solution for the same. According to his own experience, he had to keep the SUV at the service centre for about 2 months due to an accident. Apart from that, he had to drive the SUV for around a month without the AC working properly. He mentions that the AC would trip in bumper-to-bumper traffic for long durations.

He somehow managed to get by as he has another spare car. Nevertheless, he is still not confident about the solution and reserves his comments and feedback until the summer season arrives again and he gets to test the AC in real time. That is a fair statement. He also tells that he owned the Polo for 10 years and was very happy with it. But he can’t say the same for the Taigun because of the AC issue and even the service centre officials having no clue of how to solve this problem.

However, it must also be mentioned that the Taigun is arguably the most fun-to-drive product in its segment. The owner mentions that the engine is just super peppy and the handling characteristics are great. After the unfortunate accident, he is certain of the solid build quality of the Taigun as well. He says that they didn’t feel anything at the time of the impact. All in all, if VW manages to fix a few issues, its products are bound to get more buyers, especially those who are driving enthusiasts.
