Volvo is a name which is well known for its luxury buses and heavy fleets in India. Volvo India is the first ever to enter in the luxury car market but then it was not able to remain in the smoke and fashion of auto mart. The Swedish auto maker has the excellent vehicle lineage in its pocket but then here we think the so called verbiage fits in the condition and that is “time is the most powerful healer”.

Volvo India has developed such vehicles in which safety has the first priority with the topmost luxury features too. The Luxury SUV XC60 has achieved the top award from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This is the only car which has achieved the title of Top Safety Pick + vehicles from the IIHS. As per Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Car India said,
“We are so confident in our safety heritage that we went ahead and volunteered the XC60 for the test. We don’t design our vehicles to pass a specific crash test; we design them to pass the most important test of all, everyday life. Each of our vehicles is equipped with active safety equipment meant to avoid a collision but have been designed to protect its occupants in the event of a crash.”
All in all we can say that after getting the five stars from the company in all crash tests the luxurious SUV XC60 has really became a five star SUV to own.
