Ever since the launch of Volkswagen Vento sedan from the German manufacturer Volkswagen, an extremely overwhelming response has come its way and the car is still on its way to the top with more and more units being sold everyday. At present an appreciable share of the C-segment is in the hands of the car but the domination seems to be getting dull now.
Its been long since the car entered the market and a lot has been changed since then. For instance take the Honda City which is the closest enemy of the Vento in its segment and Honda has brought a couple of changes to the sedan in order to keep the customers happy. The same goes for the Vento too as we have seen nothing getting refreshed in the car for a pretty long while.
Lately we heard that the company might be interested in bringing Volkswagen Vento 1.4 which has better power and mileage than the existing Vento but now the latest buzz is that the company is going to launch a facelifted Vento in the coming October. With the new strategy the company will try to pull the City back from achieving more sales.
Some of the anticipated features in the new Vento are seen to be steering mounted audio controls, a better and more powerful music system. Cruise control in another expected feature to be added in the new car. Upgraded head and tail lights with smoked effect and a couple of new interesting colours are also on the list.
So with the new refreshed model scheduled for this October, the company will ensure that it retains its market share in the C-segment and people do keep loving the car.
