Volkswagen was feeling the heat of competition with the new entrants like the new Hyundai Verna Fluidic, Ford Fiesta 2011, Nissan Sunny, Honda City after price cut and other cars in this segment which come loaded with bells and whistles. To stay ahead in the competition, Volkswagen has re-launched the top end variant of Volkswagen Vento Highline Diesel at a price of Rs. 9.77 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi India. The Vento Highline now gets luxury features like the steering mounted audio controls, parking assistance sensors, new RCD 310 Audios System with USB input, 4 Speaker music system.

These features are available in the top end variants and will help VW attract more buyers. Apart from these added features, Vento is ahead in competition in terms of handling performance of the rival cars. The Skoda Rapid is also just around the corner, with official launch on 16th Nov 2011, it will be interesting to see how things shape up.
