When the facelifted Polo was launched in July 2014, Volkswagen announced the GT TSI and TDI versions will come out a bit later in September and we’re still waiting for that day. Word on the street is that it’s going to happen soon but before that we have full specs and details for both the variants along with the prices which were announced along with the launch of the facelifted Polo.
Price
Both cars, the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and TDI will be priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). But these are introductory prices which will go up after a few months of sale.

Features
As we saw with the old GT, the petrol and diesel twins don’t see much change in terms of design. The grille gets GT badging shifted to the other side as does the C-pillar and the bootlid. The outside rearview mirrors get a glossy black finish on the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and TDI along with a rear spoiler finished in black. The rims are carried over from the older versions. The rest of the updates are shared with the Polo facelift such as the new front fascia, the tail lamps and the rear bumper. The GTs get all black interiors and black piano finish on the centre console along with the new three spoke flat bottomed steering wheel. The Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and TDI get the same features as the Highline trim on the Polo:

Although, there have been reports suggesting that dealers have already started delivering the updated models launch dates for the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and TDI haven’t been confirmed yet but we expect a launch some time before the end of this month.
