Call it a December 2010 discount or call it a strategy to boost sales of its cars, Volkswagen India has announced a price rise in its popular small car Volkswagen Polo which has been doing good sales for VW India. The reason cited for the price rise is the same which is mentioned by all other automobile manufacturers, the ever increasing input cost ! This price rise will be even higher than 3% when it comes to on-road price. So this gives another reason for Polo lovers to book their cat now and save about Rs. 15000 on their Volkswagen Polo.
