In the latest instance, Virat Kohli’s Audi TT is up for grabs. The iconic batsman has been the brand ambassador for the German luxury car marque in India since 2015. As a consequence of this long-standing partnership, we have often spotted Virat with some of the most expensive and impressive vehicles from Audi. In fact, he often becomes the first owner in the country of some special models. This TT is a prime example of that. However, as Kohli matures in his life, he announced that he wants to get rid of performance cars in favour of comfortable, spacious and practical vehicles like SUVs. Hence, he is selling most of his sportscars.

This post comes from infoarunvlogs and wheelerdealerindia on Instagram. It captures the car shop owners elucidating the details of this car. You must note that they have added a kit and modified the performance of the vehicle with the help of Stage 2 engine remapping. Additionally, there are other alterations to the mechanicals to maximize the driving dynamics. Furthermore, the vehicle was originally red in colour. But the car shop guys have changed that to a white wrap. That makes it look distinct.
On top of that, it contains an Audi TT RS body kit, Audi R8 wheels, upgraded brakes, carbon fibre steering, Alcantara interior, and custom exhaust worth a whopping Rs 5 lakh. Remember this is the 2015 model. With all these modifications, the hosts mention that the price of just these added components is a whopping Rs 25 lakh. That is more than most mass-market automobiles sold in India. This vehicle has just been driven 40,000 km. With all these added accessories and performance enhancements, they are asking Rs 44 lakh for this vehicle. Hence, if you have that kind of cash lying around and are interested in owning Virat Kohli’s Audi TT, this might be a great opportunity. In fact, this is less than what you would generally pay for a brand-new Toyota Fortuner
Our View
We often see people selling celebrity cars in the used car market. These cars certainly have an appeal by virtue of being the cars driven by our beloved stars. In most cases, some cars are so old that owning them could be more of a headache. Before purchasing old luxury cars, it is critical to understand the maintenance costs associated with them. This includes the availability of spare parts. Hence, it is often not a good idea to go for such deals. However, this Audi TT is relatively new. Therefore, you could think about going for this sportscar which had a price tag of Rs 70 lakh, ex-showroom in 2015.
