Car modifications are getting more and more common among Indian consumers. This has also led to amazing results. However, some of these designs are not quite successful. In some cases, car owners also end up creating a nuisance while showing off their vehicles. Recently, a new video of a dancing Mahindra Thar went viral on the internet. It can also be seen playing loud music on the road. Now, the cops have taken action and seized the SUV.

As you can see in the video above, several people are riding around in a modified Mahindra Thar. While some people are standing out of the sunroof, the driver is attempting to lift the front end of the SUV in the air. The suspension of the SUV has been tuned to make the front end of the car bounce when the driver uses the accelerator and brakes. As it bobs up and down, the riders are also playing loud music. All this is happening on a public road.

It is to be noted that performing stunts on public roads is absolutely illegal. Even some car modifications can incur fines. In this case, the older generation Mahindra Thar SUV was being used in a wedding procession. The driver is said to be the groom’s brother. Now, the cops have seized the car for reckless driving and loud music. While the driver has been arrested, the police also plan to take action against the three young men standing out of the sunroof of the Mahindra Thar.

The above-mentioned incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. This is not the first such incident in the area. In 2020, Ghaziabad police seized a heavily modified Mahindra Scorpio. It was also known as the dancing car. The police even issued a fine of Rs 41,500 for all the modifications and reckless driving. It is not clear if a similar challan will be issued to the Mahindra Thar owner as well. The video evidence clearly shows him performing stunts and play loud music without caring about the people around him.

Performing stunts with cars/ bikes is quite risky. It is even more dangerous on public roads. Even with a small stunt, you can put lives in danger. The driver can lose control at any point and simply crash into another vehicle.
