This version of the E-Class was discontinued back in 2021. Prior to discontinuation, the E220d used to come powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produced a decent 192 hp and 400 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine came mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. Its top speed was rated at a cool 240 km/h. Back in the day, one could get it for Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom.
