There have been a ton of videos on the internet where people are showing the condition of their homes. Water has risen to waist height and the apartments in some parts of the city have submerged affecting everything. There are long power cuts throughout the city and almost every aspect of life has come to a standstill. What is even more worrying is the fact that rains have been predicted for the next few days too. If that were to happen, it will create an even bigger challenge and the water might start accumulating even in other areas. Hence, government intervention is needed so that work could be done to tackle this.
