Bajaj V15 reportedly has gotten updates, with a more powerful and refined engine. Also, it gets some minor cosmetic upgrades but the absence of ABS still remains.
Bajaj Auto had launched a bike which uses metal from the famous INS Vikrant, India’s first Aircraft carrier. The metal is used on the fuel tank of the bike. Bajaj V15 and V125 are inspired by true patriotism.
Bajaj V15 is quite popular in the commuter bikes segment as it falls in the entry-level 150cc motorcycles department. However, its smaller counterpart, V125 is a slow runner in its segment.

As per our dealer sources, Bajaj V15 received an update 2-3 months back. It is called internally as ‘Power Model’ as it gets a more powerful and refined engine.
2019 version of V15 continues with the same 150cc engine but gets a power hike of around 2 BHP. The earlier power figure has now increased from 12 BHP to 14 BHP.
Along with this, it receives very minor visual upgrades. A set of new graphics has been added on the bike. Rest of the bike remains the same as earlier, with no further mechanical changes.
Reports say that Bajaj V15 has also been spotted testing with ABS. In order to comply with the upcoming safety regulations, all the two-wheelers above 125cc need to have ABS. Most likely, V15 will sport a single-channel ABS.

V15 comes with a 149.5cc air-cooled DTS-i engine. The engine pumps out 14 BHP and 12.7 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike gets a huge fuel tank of 14.7 Litres. With an average mileage of 48 kmpl, it offers a riding range of around 700 kms at one go. Many other Bajaj bikes offer a superb riding range because of beefy fuel tanks.
For suspension purposes, it uses conventional telescopic forks and gas-filled Twin Shock absorbers at the back. In the front, the bike uses a 240mm disc brake and a 130mm drum brake at the end.
The V15 is priced at Rs 65,178 (ex-showroom Delhi) to take on the likes of Hero Achiever, Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic, Yamaha SZ-R and Honda CB Unicorn.
