The much-anticipated Tata Curvv was recently spotted with a prominent safety feature. It was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 a couple of months ago. There, it was carrying a diesel engine. Interestingly, it looks like the electric and diesel versions will precede the turbo petrol trim. The Curvv bears the coupe-SUV silhouette in the mid-size SUV segment. Hence, it will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the like, directly. For now, let us take a look at the details of the latest spy video here.
Tata Curvv Seen with Crucial Safety Feature
This post comes from rohit_paradkar on Instagram. The visuals capture the Curvv, wrapped in a thick camouflage, doing test runs on public roads. Despite the covering, there are a few aspects that we can deduce from the video clip. Firstly, the coupe-silhouette of the Curvv is apparent. At the rear, there are connected LED taillamps via an LED light bar which runs the width of the boot lid. Apart from that, the sloping roofline confirms the attractive coupe design. Look closely and you can even spot the flush-fitting door handles which pop out when you need them. Even the alloy wheels are new but their exact appearance is hidden.
However, the most crucial feature in this video is the Blind Spot Monitoring Alert. While the vehicle is being driven, the cameras and sensors gather data of the car’s vicinity. If there is a car in the blind spot area of the Curvv, an orange warning light symbol appears on the ORVM. That informs the driver to be careful and watch out for a car which would otherwise have passed under the radar. That enhances the active safety prowess of the vehicle significantly. This also means that it could get ADAS functions.
