Tata H2X will be positioned between Tiago and Nexon, in the 5-7 Lakhs range. Sitting on Tata’s new ALFA platform, the H2X will be a petrol-only model. It will mostly get the 1.2 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine that comes on Tiago and Altroz. We can also expect the JTP’s engine to come on the H2X.
Tata’s other big launch will be the Gravitas (7-seater Harrier). Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Tata will mostly launch the Gravitas next month. It will come with the same 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel engine that comes in the Harrier, but its power figures will be around 170 BHP.
Gravitas will then rival the likes of Honda CR-V, Mahindra Alturas, Isuzu MU-X and will undercut their prices too. The fourth model might be an electric C-segment sedan, in a production form. Or, Tata could just showcase a new C-segment sedan with an ICE engine, in a concept form.
