Tata Punch EV
Tata Motors will introduce the Punch EV in the Indian market in 2024. The vehicle has been spotted undergoing road tests on several occasions. Alongside a few design enhancements, it is likely to come with the same electric technology as the Tiago. This entails a 25.58 kWh Lithium-ion battery that offers an approximate range of 320-350 km on a single charge.
The electric motor could deliver commendable performance, generating 74 hp and 114 Nm of peak power and torque. Propelling the front wheels through a single-speed transmission, the Punch EV is expected to accelerate from 0 to 80 km/h in roughly 13.5 seconds. The projected top speed is around 85 km/h, with a primary focus on optimizing driving range, similar to the Tiago EV. Interestingly, there’s a possibility that it might also adopt the electric motor from the Nexon in a de-tuned state.
