Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF is all set to be launched on 20th May. Ahead of the launch, it has finally been spotted in India, but under covers.
Till today, there was no photo of the Gixxer 250. We did not know what it would look like, but had a tiny information that it will be a fully faired motorcycle. Ahead of the launch, a new photo of the bike under wraps has been leaked.
Looks like the alloy wheels are different from the regular Gixxer. Also, it seems to adapt a more aggressive and sporty design than what we had expected. It looks like a competitor to Pulsar RS200 and Yamaha R15 V3 and not the Fazer25.
Very scarce details are known as of now, but with the launch date nearing, we expect more updates to come our way. The bike is scheduled to be launched on 20th May.

Moving on, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 seems to be inspired by the bigger GSX-R bikes from the global market. Reportedly, the colour options will be inspired by Hayabusa, offering Silver, Grey and Blue Colour.
At the front, it is seen equipped with Upside-Down Forks, instead of our expectation of telescopic forks. At the rear, the Gixxer 250 might use adjustable monoshocks. The quarter-litre bike will use dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 will use a BS-6 compliant 250cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. The motor will reportedly produce a max. power of 26 BHP, with an estimated torque of 23 Nm.
We expect it to be loaded with features such as LED headlamps, LED tail lights, a fully digital instrument console (Different from Gixxer), dual-exhaust port, split seats and a couple of bits more.

The Gixxer 250 might be priced around Rs 1.3 Lakhs (ex-showroom), so that it goes against Yamaha Fazer25, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and Yamaha R15 V3. The competition is going to be pretty tough.
With this, Suzuki is reportedly launching the updated versions of Gixxer and Gixxer SF too. Both the bikes will get mild styling updates, some new features including a revised instrument console.
