Skoda is in the process of expanding and updating its portfolio for the Indian automobile market
At the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, we came across a few upcoming Skoda cars for the Indian market. Note that India is Skoda’s largest market outside Europe. That is a huge achievement which became possible only after the heavily localized MQB A0 IN started spawning cars for our market. The Slavia and Kushaq ensured that Skoda broke all its previous sales records for India. Going forward, the Czech carmaker wants to build on this strong foundation. To achieve that, it will expand its portfolio and update its existing products to keep the interest of the potential buyers going. Let us take a look at the details here.
Upcoming Skoda Cars in India in 2025
New Skoda Kodiaq
Let us commence this post with the Skoda Kodiaq. Note that it was on display at the auto expo. It is the new-generation model which will be sold in our market as a CBU. Hence, it will be imported for the Indian buyers which is bound to take the prices extremely high. In fact, you should be prepared for a price tag of well over Rs 55 lakh. Clearly, it will rival the high-end luxury vehicles from German car marques. Hence, it will be a niche product primarily designed for affluent customers. It gets a modern appearance with the familiar Skoda design philosophy.
On the inside, the large SUV comes with tons of modern-day amenities including the likes of a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment display, virtual cockpit driverโs instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sliding and reclining rear seats, premium audio system, and more. Under its hood, you will find a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill which belts out a healthy 190 hp and 320 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. Performing the transmission duties is a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox for an exhilarating performance.

New Skoda Superb
Then we have the new-generation Skoda Superb. Just like the Kodiaq, even the Superb will be a full import. Hence, the price will be around Rs 55 lakh. That, again, puts it at par with the German luxury sedans which will cater to a niche market segment. The exterior styling will carry the timeless design philosophy of Skoda. This includes an understated front fascia, a long side profile and an elegant tail end. It is certain that it will turn heads anywhere it goes with its impressive road presence.
Moving inside the cabin reveals a layout full of top-notch materials and loads of premium elements. The top amenities are a Dual-spoke Steering Wheel with Multimedia and Call Controls, a Digital Instrument Cluster, a Free-standing Touchscreen Infotainment Display, Wooden Inserts on Dashboard and Door Panels, Extended Thigh Support for Seats, Premium Upholstery and more. Even though the international model gets multiple powertrain options, I reckon the Indian-spec version will use a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill which churns out a healthy 190 hp and 320 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. This engine pairs with a sole 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Skoda Octavia vRS
The next vehicle on this list of upcoming Skoda cars in India in 2025 is the Octavia vRS. Note that it is one of the most popular performance vehicles from Skoda ever. In India, it did immensely well when it was introduced in limited numbers with the previous-gen avatars. Performance enthusiasts love to own this monster. Since it is currently not on sale in India, the new model will grace our roads soon. The vehicle was present at the auto expo. On the outside, it bears a slew of modern-day styling elements including sharp and sporty components.
On the inside, the all-black theme with red stitchings enhances the sporty vibe. There are features like a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment display, a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and the use of premium materials for upholstery. However, the biggest talking point is what lies under that long hood. It is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol mill which will generate a whopping 265 hp and 370 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. This engine uses a sporty 7-speed DSG transmission which allows a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 6.4 seconds. The top speed is a cool 250 km/h. The standard sports suspension is lowered by 15 millimetres and, together with the progressive steering and electronically controlled VAQ limited-slip differential, ensures excellent traction and driving dynamics in any situation.

Skoda Enyaq iV
Finally, we will also see the Skoda Enyaq iV in our market in the coming months. Interestingly, it didn’t make an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 for some reason. In any case, we have spotted it plying on the Indian roads as a test mule on multiple occasions previously. It carries the latest design language from the Czech car marque. Along with that, the interior contains the latest tech and convenience amenities to pamper the customers. This includes things like a Digital Driverโs Instrument Cluster, Free-standing Touchscreen Infotainment Display, Soft-touch Materials on the Dashboard and Door Panels, eSIM and Wi-Fi Connectivity, Wireless Charging, 2 Rear USB-Cs and 230 V Socket and more.
In the international markets, it derives power from a 77 kWh battery pack which powers two electric motors for an all-wheel-drive configuration. The outcome is a healthy 265 hp of peak power. This allows the EV to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. As per WLTP, it offers a range of 513 km on a single charge. The fast charging capabilities are supported via a 125 kW DC charger. These are all the Skoda cars that we will see in India in the coming months.
