New Maruti Swift
The next-gen Swift is expected to be launched before the end of the year. It is already being tested on foreign soil. The new model will be powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine with Toyota’s strong hybrid technology. With a mileage of around 35-40kmpl, it is expected to be the most fuel-efficient car in the country. The lower variants will get the 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine with manual and AMT options. In addition to a strong hybrid tech, the new model will get new design and features.

New Maruti Dzire
The next-gen Dzire is also among the upcoming Maruti Suzuki hybrid cars in India. It is expected to be launched by March 2024. It will be powered by similar powertrains and features as the new Swift. The new strong hybrid versions of the Dzire and Swift will meet the upcoming CAFE II (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards. As of now, there is no information about the price tag of the upcoming models.

New Innova Hycross-based Maruti MPV
Maruti Suzuki is also set to launch the Innova Hycross under its nameplate. It is part of the s part of Toyota-Suzuki ongoing model-sharing partnership. The Indo-Japanese brand is likely to make changes to the upcoming MPV before launch. Maruti Suzuki’s Innova Hycross-based MPV is expected to be launched by August 2023. It will be sold through NEXA dealerships. While there is no confirmation about its price tag as yet, the new 3-row MPV will be Maruti’s most expensive model in the country.

The Innova Hycross-based MPV will be powered by a 2.0L petrol engine with Toyota’s strong hybrid tech. It will offer combined power and torque of 186PS and 206Nm, respectively. The strong hybrid powertrain is paired with an e-CVT automatic unit. The new model is said to offer an impressive mileage of 21.1kmpl. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0L NA engine that offers 174PS of power and 205Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. The new 3-row MPV is based on Toyota’s TNGA-C modular platform with a front-wheel-drive layout. Of course, it will even the biggest of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki hybrid cars in India.
