Author’s Note
Mahindra is struggling to keep up with the demand of its prominent SUVs like Thar, Scorpio N and XUV700. This is a great problem to have. In the last few months, it has tried hard to bring the waiting times down. However, with the 5-door Thar and XUV300 facelift, things could get challenging yet again. These will boast high demand and sales. On the other hand, the XUV400 facelift has a monumental task of taking the market share away from the highest-selling EV in the country, the Tata Nexon EV. Finally, the XUV.e8 will be the first of 5 dedicated EVs from Mahindra in the next couple of years. It will become the flagship SUV in the lineup. Let us keep an eye out for the upcoming Mahindra cars in India in 2024.
