Price | ₹ 4.03 – 4.91 lakh |
Specifications | 1.0-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol |

The Santro is Hyundai’s India most-known product. Hyundai tried to replicate the success of the Santro with the Eon but it did not work as desired. So, plans are reportedly underway to bring the tall-boy Santro back. Either the Eon and i10 can be replaced with the new Santro in Hyundai India’s lineup. However, the only thing highely unlikely to be seen in the Santro is a diesel engine. What’s more likely is a CNG variant of the car.

The Nano Pelican is the internal name of a Nano-based hatchback from Tata. That means that while it is likely to be bigger than the Nano, it will be an Alto competitor. Hence, in all likelihood, it will be slotted between the Nano and the Tiago. You can call it the upmarket Nano. Under its hood will most likely be a 1.0-litre petrol engine. As far as the design inspiration goes, this car will likely borrow design cues from Suzuki Crosshiker concept (showcased at Tokyo Motor Show in 2013).
