2019 is a good year for all the car buyers as loads of car manufacturers are bringing their new products or launching facelifts to the market. New companies like MG Motors and Kia are also bringing their products to the Indian market. Here is a list of upcoming cars in 2019 which includes hatchbacks, sedans, SUV’s, luxury cars and even electric vehicles which gives buyers a proactive choice which car to choose from.
Toyota Glanza
The rebadged Maruti Baleno will sit on the same platform as its sibling and it will be a premium hatchback from Toyota. Several spy shots and videos have prevailed that the car looks identical to Baleno in terms of exteriors and interiors.
However, considering it a Toyota, warranty period of 3 years or 1 lakh kms will be made available along with new safety features as expected. It will only come in petrol engine. The 1.2-litre motor produces 84bhp with 115Nm of torque powered gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It will launch on 6th June and is expected to be priced between Rs 7.20lakh – 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Tata Altroz
The stylish hatchback from Tata will against Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Glanza. The car is based on the ALFA platform and follows Impact 2.0 design like that seen in Harrier.
It is expected to launch with diesel engine first followed by 2 more petrol engine latter in 2019. It will feature 1.5litre revortorq engine seen on Nexon but the power figures will be detuned. It is expected to launch in July 2019.
New gen Hyundai Grand i10
The popular hatchback from Hyundai will now be larger in everything, be it length, width or even the spacious interiors inside. The new touchscreen infotainment system, new headlight design along with wider grille and larger tail lights are expected.
Several spy shots of the car testing have been spied and it is expected to launch during the festive season of 2019. Once launched, it will go against Maruti Swift and Ford Figo.

Kia SP2i
South Korean carmaker, Kia, will set its foot in the India market with their SPI2i concept which was first showcased in Auto Exo 2018. The SUV is expected to host loads of features like adaptive cruise control, large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, driver talk and quiet mode and among several other features too.
The car is expected to launch by June 20 and will rival against the Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500 and the newly unveiled MG Hector. The price range for the same is expected to be between Rs 14 lakh-Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hyundai Elanttra Facelift
The facelift will follow the fluidic design like before and the pictures revealed that the exteriors have been completely redesigned. New triangular headlights, revised front and new bumpers, new fog light housing along with the signature cascading grille which now is grown in size.
Redesigned cabin layout and the updated steering wheel can be expected in the interiors of the sedan. It is expected to launch later this year and will go up against Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and Skoda Octavia
Jeep Trailhawk
Jeep is expected to launch the Trailhawk in June this year and the offroader will have the convenience of a 9-speed automatic gearbox in the disel engine. The ground clearance is raised by 225Nm. Several spy shots have been released and the SUV will get trailhawk badging along with an anti-glare decal on the bonnet. It is expected to be priced at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hyundai Tucson Facelift
Tucson being a fully equipped SUV which offers loads of features is not welcomed by the Indian market as its other competitors. However, with the facelift, Hyundai plans to attract more buyers with the car.
It will feature new LED headlights, revised bumpers and more features including a 360-degree camera, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is expected to start at 19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hyundai Kona EV
The first electric vehicle from Hyundai to enter Indian market will make its way on June 9. The SUV is expected to powered by a 39kWh battery which will produce 133bhp on tap and will offer a driving range of 300km. It is expected to be launched at a price of RRs 25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
BMW 3-series facelift
The facelifted luxury sedan now sits on the support of the 5 series and 7 series sedan and is, therefore, a little bit larger, safer and lighter than the on-going model. It will feature the latest BMW i-drive system along with a new 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
It will packs loads of new features which are seen on its higher siblings. It is expected to launch in late 2019.
Tata Buzzard
The 7-seater SUV based on the Hector is expected to launch later this year. It sits on the Land Rover platform and will feature revised bumpers design along with new taillights. The cabin will be similar to the Hector and will see an addition of the third row and new set of features.

Mahindra eKUV
With the e20 and eVerito as their electric vehicles before, Mahindra will launch the electric version of KUV later this year. On a single charge, it is expected to see a range of 340km with the updated technology, features and more. We can expect a price of Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for eKUV.
