We have combined the list of upcoming cars from Tata Harrier Dark Edition to Volkswagen Polo that will launch in September 2019.
With the festive season around the corner, most car manufacturers bring in their new models or mid-cycle facelift to the existing ones. This step not only boosts company sales but also gives the consumer a new product in the automobile market to choose from.
Here we have the complete list of the upcoming cars that will launch in September from various car companies.
Renault Kwid Facelift
Starting off with the entry-level hatchback segment, Renault Kwid is one of the most popular cars in this segment. And the new facelift model will bring out new cosmetic changes and some redesigned cabin. It borrows the design inspiration from the K-ZE.
Mechanically, the power figures will remain the same. The on-going Kwid makes 54 bhp with 72 Nm of peak torque from a 0.8-litre petrol motor. The bigger 1.0L engine produces 67 bhp with 91 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and an AMT. It is quite early to say as of now if both the engines will be BS6 compliance or not.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
The rival to the Renault Kwid, Maruti S-Presso is a compact hatchback with SUV styling that is aimed to focus on young professionals. Features wise it will come with SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment, Steering mounted Audio Controls, Voice Command, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features will include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and speed alert system as standard.

Under the hood, it will carry the same engines as seen on the WagonR. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 83 bhp and is mated to 5-speed manual transmission. One also gets the option of an AMT gearbox.
Tata Harrier Dark Edition
The SUV segment in India is rising and Tata Harrier was one such car which gained on the mid-size SUV segment. Now with the growing competition, Tata will bring a dark edition to the Harrier. The all-black paint scheme will be followed on the exteriors and the cabin inside will also get black interiors.
Mechanically, it will continue with the 2.0L FCA sourced diesel engine which churns out 140 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission option includes only a 6-speed manual gearbox and there are reports that the Harrier is expected to come with an automatic gearbox in early 2020.
Volkswagen Polo and Vento Facelift
Both the cars will launch on September 4 and the facelift generally counts up to some cosmetic changes on the exteriors which are inspired by the Volkswagen GTI. There is no news on the interior changes but we expect it to get some mild ones as to compete with the likes with its competitors.
