The newly launched Known only by its ‘Kite 5‘ codename, the compact sedan will be nearly identical to the concept that was on display at the Auto Expo. It will be positioned below the Zest and will, in all probability, become the cheapest compact sedan on sale in India. Expect Tata to launch the car during the first quarter of 2017 at a starting price of just under 4 lakhs.

New Chevrolet Beat
It is not secret that General Motors and Chevrolet have been struggling in India for some time now. However, the brand has now charted out a strategy in order to get back into the game. Spearheading its resurgence will be the new Beat that will arrive in showrooms by the end of this year or early next year. Based on the current model, the new Beat will be a thoroughly revised package and will be available in hatchback, crossover, and compact sedan forms. Expect prices to start a shade under 4 lakhs.

Chevrolet Essentia

Tata Nano Pelican
