And trust us, each of these cars has something interesting up their sleeve.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be launched tomorrow, on August 20. It is essentially based on the Grand i10 and will be existing along side the Grand i10 in Hyundai’s lineup but it gets a whol;e lot of changes than the car its based on. It gets new styling which is more inline with Hyundai’s latest design language and completely new interiors with much more features in offer. It is also bigger than the Grand i10 which means it will have more space on the inside. It will carry over the same engines from the Grand i10 though.
Maruti Suzuki XL6
Up next on the list is the Maruti Suzuki XL6 that is scheduled to be launched on August 21. Well, the XL6 may not be a completely new car but it is almost so. The Maruti XL6 is based on the Ertiga MPV but gets a completely new face with different styling. Think of it as a more rugged version of the Ertiga with body claddings all around, new wheels and more premium styling. The biggest highlight of the XL6 would be the two captain seats in the second row of the car. Maruti wants to position this as a premium car and would be selling it through the Nexa showrooms.
BMW 3-Series
Well, that’s not all for August 21, as BMW would be launching the all-new 3-series in India on August 21 as well. This is the seventh-generation of the 3-series and it would be sitting on the CLAR platform. Its bigger than the previous-gen 3-series with a longer wheelbase but its also lighter. The new BMW 3-series would be powered by 2.0L, petrol and diesel engines in 330i and 320d guise respectively. The engines would be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with power being sent to the rear wheels as standard. Also, the 3-series looks much better inside and out than before.
