With the festive season spirit riding high in November, we have quite a few important upcoming car launches for this month. That includes the likes of the third-gen Hyundai i20, a locally assembled Mercedes-AMG and even an Audi S car.
With the festive season already here, the month of October saw quite a few new car launches. That included from something like the all-new Mahindra Thar to the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe as well. In November too, with the festive season spirit riding high, we are going to see a few more important car launches that includes the likes of the third-gen Hyundai i20, a locally assembled Mercedes-AMG and even an Audi S car. Here’s a detailed look at all the exciting new upcoming car launches coming up this month.
New-Gen Hyundai i20
This is arguably one of the most important upcoming car launches of the year. The Hyundai i20 has been one of the most popular premium hatchbacks in the country ever since its introduction and the model will soon see its third-generation update here in India. Based on a brand-new platform, the new i20 boasts of fresh new styling that’s a lot sportier and the interiors have been completely freshened up as well. As with every new Hyundai, the third-gen i20 will be the most feature rich car in its segment. The new Hyundai i20 is slated for a launch on November 5.
Nissan Magnite
The sub-compact SUV space is getting ever so crowded and the latest entrant in this segment is the Nissan Magnite. Nissan globally unveiled the Magnite earlier this month and we have come away with a good first impression. It is certainly very stylish and is very well equipped on the insides as well. This is really a make or break product for Nissan in India and thus we are expecting a very aggressive pricing for the Magnite. With so many options in this segment, competition sure wouldn’t be easy. Nissan is expected to launch in post-Diwali, which falls on November 14.
BS6 Force Gurkha
The BS6 update on the Force Gurkha has been long incoming and it is finally expected to launch next month. We have already seen spy shots of the BS6 Gurkha being dispatched to dealerships, so the launch shouldn’t be very far away. Just like the new Thar, the BS6 Gurkha has been completely redesigned from the grounds up. Based on a brand new platform with a fresh design, the Gurkha isn’t just utilitarian anymore either. The Gurkha is also expected to be much improved in terms of on-road dynamics. The Thar might have a tough challenger coming up.
Isuzu D-Max V-Cross
Earlier this month, a leaked teaser image of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross surfaced on the internet, hinting at its imminent launch. Interestingly, the teaser image depicted the new-gen Isuzu D-Max V-Cross that was unveiled globally last year. If this is the model making it to India, it boasts of completely new interior and exterior styling with much improved comfort and dynamics. The Isuzu D-Max is the only kind of its vehicle here in India, a premium lifestyle pick-up as Isuzu likes to call it. Under the hood, it’s expected to get a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel, producing 188 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque.

Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe
This is yet another very important upcoming car launches for this month. Earlier this month, Mercedes-AMG announced that they will be locally assembling a few AMG cars in India. The GLC 43 Coupe will be the first made-in-India AMG model launching this month and that means it will be a lot more affordable more than before. The model is the facelifted version of the AMG GLC Coupe that was introduced in 2019 but it never came to India, however, we did have the previous model here. The performance-spec coupe SUV will be launched on November 3, 2020, and it will be priced close to Rs 80 lakh. Eventually a few more AMG cars will also be locally assembled here in India.

This will be the first Audi S model coming to India after the BS6 norms and it is one of the most scintillating performance sedans out there. The car will be powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI engine that delivers 349 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. With gorgeous styling and loaded to brim with technology, the S5 Sportback is sure to be watched out for.
