Here is the list of all the upcoming bikes in India in 2022. The recovery phase for the automobile industry means a plethora of new launches to boost sales and garner interest from potential customers. Some of these products might have been planned for earlier but due to the delay in production and supply chain issues, 2022 will experience a slurry of new and updated bikes.

Upcoming Bikes India 2022 from KTM, Bajaj, Honda, Kawasaki, TVS and Others

KTM
The KTM Duke 390 is in dire need of an update in our market. It plans to bring the all-new 2022 KTM Duke with a new frame, new engine, new brakes and new features sometime in the middle of the year. The updated KTM would be around Rs 20,000 – Rs 30,000 pricier than the existing model. KTM also plans to bring the 890 Adventure and 890 Duke and 790 to India.

Kawasaki
The next section of our report on upcoming bikes in India 2022 includes details from Kawasaki. Touted as the baby Ninja, Kawasaki is planning to introduce the Versys-X 300 in our market. This will be the smallest adventure bike in the adventure bike portfolio of the Japanese bike company. It could launch around July this year with a budget of approx Rs 4.50 lakh. Apart from that, it is also planning to replace the existing Ninja Z300 with the Z400. However, it is not certain if the upcoming Ninja 400 would replace the 300 or be sold alongside it.

Honda
Honda has filed the patent for the CBR 150R trademark in India hinting at an imminent launch of the same. It will go up against the likes of the Yamaha R15 V4. We might see the launch somewhere around October this year. The CBR 150R makes 16 hp and 13.7 Nm of power and torque outputs which are slightly lower than that of the R15. However, its point of attraction would be its price which could undercut the R15. To compete in the Scrambler segment, Honda might bring the CL250 and CL500 either this year or next year.

Upcoming Bikes in India 2022 from Bajaj
Up next, on our report on the upcoming bikes in India 2022 holds details of new models from Bajaj. The video mentions that Bajaj is planning to launch a Triumph Cruiser bike in India soon. Moreover, the spy shots of the Pulsar 150 and 180 have also been doing rounds on the internet. They might feature the detuned engines of the 250 series. The design elements will also be borrowed from the same. We might see these bikes in flesh by the end of this year.

Hero
For the off-road enthusiasts, Hero will launch the rally kit with the Xpulse 200 4V with a flat saddle, long-travel suspension, new tyres and new side steps. This might launch by October this year.

TVS
Our list of upcoming bikes in India 2022 includes details from TVS. The South India-based manufacturer is planning to launch the Retron in India which features some design cues from Ducati Multistrada. The engine might be carried from the Zepellin which could be a 220-cc unit hybrid engine. Alternatively, it could also come with the engine of the Apache RTR 200. We could see it on our roads by June 2022.

Ultraviolette
With the vision of becoming India’s first 300-cc electric bike, the Ultraviolette F77 could be launched in India in a few weeks with a price tag of around Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 3 lakh, ex-showroom.

Upcoming Bikes in India 2022 from Ducati
Ducati had announced that it will bring another adventure bike to India, the DesertX. The concept for this bike was showcased back in 2019. It will come with a 937-cc liquid-cooled engine which is the same mill that powers the Multistrada V2. This engine outputs 110 hp and 92 Nm of peak power and torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With a ton of riding and power mode, the Ducati DesertX could cost around Rs 15 lakh in India.
