The Indian Auto industry’s biggest event is here and most of you must have been curious to find out what the manufacturers have in store for us. We have already done a separate list of all the new cars that are showcased at the Auto Expo and this here is a list of all the new and upcoming bikes in India Auto Expo 2016. UM Renegade Commando India Launch
United Motorcycles makes its India debut at this year’s Auto Expo this year with the launch of three new bikes in India. Among the most sought after of the new UM bikes in India is the Renegade commando, which has been launched with a price tag of INR 1.49 lacs and boasts of a 300cc single-cylinder engine that is likely to belt out a maximum power of around 28 PS.
UM Renegade Sport S India
Powering the compact cruiser bike is a single-cylinder 279cc, liquid-cooled engine that is good for a max. power of 26.6 PS and a peak torque of 22.76 Nm. Priced at INR 1.49 lakhs, this bike is terrific value for money.
UM Renegade Classic India
Most expensive UM bike is the Renegade Classic. Priced at INR 1.69 lacs, this bike boasts of a classy design and shares its motor with the Sport S.

Honda Navi
The new Honda Navi price is kept at INR 39500 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Priced much below the INR 50000 mark, the Navi looks like unbeatable value for money.

Yamaha
Yamaha M-Slaz India Debut
There has been widespread speculation regarding the launch of the Yamaha M-Slaz or MT-15 in India. It is essentially the naked street version of the R15 powered by the same engine. The bike was recently launched in Thailand at TBH 89,500 which is around INR 1.66 lacs.
Yamaha MT-10
The Japanese manufacturer will also showcase the menacing looking MT-10, which is essentially a naked R1. This mean looking motorcycle is based on the same platform as the R1 and will take its place at the top of the MT series of street naked motorcycles by Yamaha. Powering the bike is a 998cc crossplane engine derived from the R1. It is expected to produce 165PS and 101Nm of torque.
Yamaha R1-S
Also, on display at Yamaha’s stall will be the slightly cheaper version of the R1 superbike. Dubbed the R1-S, the manufacturer has carried a slew of changes to the stock R1 in order to bring the price down and increase its appeal, specifically targeting a younger demographic. The 2016 Yamaha YZF R1-S is visually similar to the standard R1.

Ducati
Ducati XDiavel
Italian bike manufacturer Ducati recently unveiled a whole host of new models at the EICMA 2015. Out of these models, a couple of them will be launched in India next year. One of them will be the XDiavel “Power Cruiser”. It features a 1262 cc engine which churns out 156 bhp and a peak torque of 129 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a belt drive.
Ducati 959 Panigale
The 959 is the replacement for the 899 Panigale which will be launched in India in 2016. Expect the 959 to be on display along with other Ducati products at the 2016 Auto Expo. The superbike is powered by a 955 cc engine which puts out 157 bhp and 107.4 Nm.
Suzuki
Suzuki Hayate EP
The new Suzuki Hayate EP, which is yet to be launched in the market, will make its public debut at the Expo. The Hayate EP carries some visual updates and features like tubeless tyres and adjustable rear shock absorbers, which should make the Hayate brand a tad more attractive to the exec. commuter motorcycle buying lot.
Suzuki Gixxer [Dual Disc Variant]
The Gixxer has turned out to be a very successful model for Suzuki India and the manufacturer is looking to further strengthen its appeal by adding a dual disc variant to the line-up. Spotted testing a couple of times, the new varaint will feature disc brakes at the front as well as the rear. It is expected to cost around INR 4,000 more than the standard single disc variant.
Suzuki Gixxer SF – FI
The hugely capable Gixxer SF has finally got fuel injection! This would mean that the fully-faired motorcycle will now offer a better mix of performance and fuel economy.
New 2016 Suzuki Access
The manufacturer has also launched a new Access 125 cc automatic scooter that comes powered by a 8.7 bhp – 10.2 Nm single-cylinder 124cc motor.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 India Debut
Our reliable sources inform us that a faired 250cc variant of the Gixxer will make its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016. Subsequently, this bike will be launched in March. The Gixxer 250 will rival the likes of the Honda CBR250R and will go on the become the flagship product for SMIPL

TVS
New TVS Victor
With all the talk about the new Apache and the BMW bike, it would seem that TVS has ignored the commuter segment, but that is not the case. The manufacturer is also reportedly working on a brand new Victor 110 cc motorcycle, which will be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
TVS-BMW G 310 R
The much talked about TVS–BMW small capacity motorcycle was recently unveiled internationally and next year’s event will mark its debut in India. Powering the BMW G 310 R is a 313 cc water-cooled single cylinder engine. Peak power is rated at 34 PS @ 9500 rpm and peak torque at 28 Nm @ 7500 rpm. Price are expected to start at around INR 2 lakhs.
Apache RTR 180 Facelift
On display alongside the new 200 cc Apache will be a facelifted version of the current 180 cc model. It is expected to borrow some mechanical updates from the Apache 200 and a fresh new face to liven things up.

Mahindra
Mahindra Mojo [ABS]
Mahindra will showcase an ABS equipped version of the much talked about Mojo that was launched recently following years of development. The bike was launched in India recently and although it drawn a lot of praise from critics and customers alike, the Mojo has been criticised for the lack of ABS as an option.

Triumph
Triumph Motorcycles will bring the updated 2016 Speed Triple and the Bonneville to the Auto Expo next year. The updated Thruxton, which is essentially the cafe racer version of the Bonneville is also expected to be launched in India in 2016. The Bonneville range will be priced at around INR 7-8 lacs. While the Speed Triple will be priced at INR 11-12 lacs.
DSK Benelli
DSK Benelli Tornado 302
The Benelli Tornado 302 is a fully faired version of the TNT 300 which is likely to make an appearance at the 2016 Auto Expo. It is powered by the same 300 cc engine which puts out 38 bhp of peak power and 26.5 Nm of peak torque. The TNT 300 is currently on sale in India for INR 2.97 lacs.
DSK Benelli Leoncino
Benelli unveiled the Leoncino scrambler at the EICMA 2015 and is expected to bring it to India next year. Although it is a rival direct to the Ducati Sixty2, which was also unveiled at the EICMA, the latter is not India bound, at least for now.

Hero HX 250R India Launch
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the much awaited HX 250R at the Auto Expo 2016. This model is of great significance to the manufacturer as it has been developed by Hero from the ground up following its separation from Honda.
Hero Zir
Currently, there is only one 150cc scooter on sale in India, the Vespa, so bringing in the Zir by early next year could Hero a big advantage in this upcoming segment. The Zir, which was showcased at the last Auto Expo, is a 150cc offering that is expected to reach production sometime next year.

TVS Apache RTR 300
TVS Motors will bring the prototype spec Apache RTR 300 to the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike is expected to be based on the Velocity concept and will boast impressive performance figures.
Honda CBR300R India Debut
The CBR300R is an entry level sports bike that is sold internationally. Honda is expected to showcase the bike at the Auto Expo and it could be launched in India sometime next year. It is powered by a 286cc motor which puts out a max power of 30 bhp and peak torque of 27 Nm.
Honda CBR500R
In order to bolster its performance biking portfolio, Honda is also expected to bring the CBR500R to India next year. The motorcycle should on display at the Auto Expo, followed by a launch later in the year. Prices could start at INR 4-5 lacs. The 471 cc engine powering the bike belts ou 47 bhp and 43 Nm.
Honda PCX 150
Another 150 cc scooter on display will be the PCX 150. This segment is relatively untapped in the domestic market, but we expect a few additions to it next year. The PCX150 is can be used for long distance riding and offers a significant performance advantage over the current crop of scooters on sale in India.
