Recently, an out-of-control VW Polo crashed into a hotel in Kerala. Untrained drivers often cannot deal with sudden situations on the road and end up panicking. The results are often undesirable and damaging. Polo is a rugged hatchback that is now discontinued in our market. However, it is one of the most iconic products made by the German carmaker. Out-of-Control VW Polo Driver Crashes into Hotel
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of cars during unfortunate incidents and road safety. This time, a case has been reported where a novice driver is seen maneuvering the car in a busy parking lot outside a hotel/restaurant. According to the information in the video, this case has surfaced from Palakkad in Kerala. The driver is guided by the people in charge of the parking in this video.

He/she is taking time to reverse the vehicle out of the parking space. This is a clear indication of someone who is not comfortable in the driver’s seat. In fact, there is two security personnel assisting the driver. But the driver is not able to take the car out of the parking area. Suddenly, the driver feels the car reversing onto the road. To counter that, he/she is supposed to hit the brakes. Unfortunately, the driver hit the accelerator pedal, causing the car to move forward with huge force.

Untrained Drivers Shouldn’t be Issued Driving Licences
As the security guard moves out of the way, the Polo ends up hitting the front area of a hotel where a lot of people were eating and buying stuff. Thankfully, no one was injured in this case. But it could easily have turned worse had anyone got in front of the car. It is time we start taking things seriously. Driving licenses can’t be handed out to people not even trained enough to deal with such basic situations. Stringent testing must be put in place and heavy fines must be levied upon people who break these rules.
