UM Renegade Thor electric motorcycle becomes the first electric-powered cruiser in India
United Motorcycles, one of the newest two-wheeler manufacturers in the ever-growing Indian Two Wheelers market, has launched the new UM Renegade Thor electric cruiser motorcycle at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. The first 50 units of the new motorcycle will be delivered to the customers at a drive event in Italy.

UM Renegade Thor Electric Motorcycle Price in India
The new UM Renegade Thor Electric Motorcycle has gone on sale at a price of Rs 9.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle will come to us via CBU route. However, the company plans to start local assembly of this motorcycle in coming months. The locally-assembled Thor is expected to cost Rs 4.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

UM Renegade Thor Electric Motorcycle Specifications
Powering the UM Thor Electric Motorcycle is a 30 kW electric motor that can propel the motorcycle to a claimed top speed of 180 KMs. The peak torque output stands at 70 Nm. The motorcycle has a range of upto 270 KMs. The motor gets its juice from a lithium polymer battery, which can be charged upto 80% in just 40 minutes thru a fast charger. This is the only electric motorcycle that is paired to a five-speed transmission. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a belt drive setup. The motorcycle comes with ABS. The EV rides on a 17-inch wheel at the front and a 15-inch wheel at the rear. It is claimed that the UM Renegade Electric bike has performance comparable to that of a typical 600cc motorcycle.
