UM Renegade Regal and 300cc Adventure motorcycle first spy pics out!

UM Renegade Regal and an unknown 300cc adventure motorcycle test mules have been spotted. Both the motorcycles are expected to arrive in Q1 2019.

UM Motors is an American Motorcycle manufacturer, which currently is conducting its operations in India as well. In India, it retails 4 cruiser motorcycles, which look like typical American old-school types.

Now, here are some spy pics of two of its upcoming motorcycles. UM Renegade Regal will be an addition to the Renegade lineup. It is expected to be the most-affordable UM motorcycle in India.

In another spy shot (probably at the same place), we have spotted a UM Adventure tourer. It looks bigger than the global-spec UM ADV bikes, more like BMW G310 GS. Both the motorcycles seem to be new developments, even across the global markets.

UM Renegade Regal gets the old-school American cruiser looks with heavy chrome detailing, but with contrasting blacked out components. It gets a sweptback handle, offering a laid-back riding position.

UM Renegade Regal will most likely get the same 279.5cc liquid cooled engine. The engine produces 25 BHP and 23 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

On the other hand, the Adventure Motorcycle will also sport the same 279.5cc engine. Although the ADV bike could get retuned engine for better low-end torque delivery.

Also, both the motorcycles might come with BS-6 compliant engines as well.

Both the motorcycles will be equipped with ABS, since the Bharat safety norms are set to kick in. We believe that the other 4 motorcycles will also be updated with ABS soon.

UM Renegade Regal will sport telescopic forks at the front and shock absorbers at the rear. The ADV bike will get Upside-Down telescopic forks at the front and adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.

UM Renegade Regal is expected to be priced around Rs 1.4 Lakhs onwards. It will continue to rival against Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa Motorcycles.

The Adventure bike might cost around Rs 2.5 Lakhs. It is expected to rival against the likes of BMW G 310GS and Royal Enfield Himalayan.

The current price range of UM Motorcycles start off from Rs 1.66 Lakhs for Renegade Sports, going up to Rs 2 Lakhs for UM Commando Classic Copper.
