UM DSR Adventure 125, TT 125 and 200 are expected to launch in India in 2019. Adventure 125 and 200 will be ADV bikes, while TT 125 will be an off-roader.
In 2018-end, UM Motorcycles held a annual dealership meet, where some photos of their upcoming products were leaked on internet. Through these photos, we got to know that the brand is planning to make a move in the ADV bikes segment.
Reportedly, UM DSR Adventure 125 and TT 125 will be launched in India. While the former one will be a pure adventure tourer, TT 125 will be a complete off-roading motorcycle.
At the dealer event, UM DSR Adventure 200 was spotted. So, summing up, we expect UM Motorcycles to launch 2 new adventure motorcycles in India. The bikes are expected to be launched in India by the end of 2019.

The most affordable and entry-level ADV motorcycle in India is the Himalayan. While Hero is launching XPulse 200 in India soon, UM DSR Adventure 125 will be the least-powered ADV in India.
The Adventure 125 will use a 124cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine, that delivers 14.7 BHP at 9750 RPM and 10.9 Nm at 8250 RPM of peak torque. The engine pairs up with a 5-speed gearbox.
On the other hand, Adventure 200 gets a 196cc air-cooled carburetor engine. The engine is capable of delivering 16 BHP and 16 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

With these bikes, UM also plans to launch the Renegade Duty S in India too. The premium cruiser draws inspiration from the Harley Davidson Iron 883. Duty S was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
This bike uses a 223cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that puts out 17 BHP and 17 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
UM is currently gearing up with the ABS updated for its current lineup. We expect all the bikes in the lineup to receive a single-channel ABS with a rear disc and RLP at the back.

The lineup of UM includes different variants of Renegade and all are old-school American cruisers. With new ADVs launching, the brand could look at some positive sales in the future.
