TVS is reportedly working on the Zeppelin cruiser and we can see it in the production form at the 2020 Auto Expo. It will the first cruiser from TVS.
TVS had showcased the Zeppelin cruiser at the 2018 Auto Expo and is reportedly under development, for its upcoming launch next year. It will be TVS’s first cruiser in India and another affordable cruiser in India.
Bikewale reports that TVS is focusing on Zeppelin and the cruiser is almost ready. It is likely to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo and launch can happen sometime next year. The road testing of the bike is expected to start soon.
The report suggests that it will get a 212cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, based on the RTR 200’s engine. The power figures are likely to be around 20 BHP. The engine will come as BS-6 compliant from the time of launch itself.

It will be positioned as a power cruiser and misses out on the retro look. Moreover; it is likely to borrow most of its equipment from RTR 200 like headlamps, the digital instrument console and switchgear as well.
At the 2018 Auto Expo, TVS Zeppelin cruiser was shown with gold USD forks, Integrated Starter Generation and an HD camera as well. However, to keep the costs in tow, TVS might equip it with basic equipment.
For suspension, it might get telescopic forks at the front and a twin shock absorber at the back. Disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel ABS is also to come as standard fitment. Further, we can expect full LED lighting too.

We expect it to look like a near version of the concept shown at Expo. It will continue with the same bold stance and the low slung seats to offer a premium cruiser look.
No need to mention, but it will go against the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220, which is the best-selling cruiser in India. The Avenger also gets a similar capacity engine, priced near Rs 1.10 Lakhs. Expect the prices of Zeppelin to stay in that range as well.
