TVS Phoenix New Model 2015 goes on sale
TVS has just launched its product offensive for the year 2015 by silently introducing the TVS Phoenix New Model 2015, which happens to be the sole offering by the Hosur-based motorcycle manufacturer in the highly competitive 125cc segment of our country’s ever expanding bike market. The TVS Phoenix new model 2015 carries several cosmetic updates and new features, all of which come together to bestow this 125cc executive commuter with some more appeal. The TVS Phoenix 2015 has been launched in two variants and here, in this post, we have come up with all the available details on the newly launched motorcycle.

Price
As we just said, the TVS Phoenix new model 2015 has gone on sale in two variants. The entry-level variant boasts of a drum brake setup upfront and retails for INR 51,990. On the other hand, the flagship variant boasts of a disc brake setup at front and goes on sale for INR 55,899. (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

Styling
Speaking of the cosmetic upgrades for the new bike, the 2015 Phoenix gets a refreshed front fairing that boasts of a new dual tone visor, and the bike also gets a new fuel tank that is adorned with tank scoops and a 3-D logo. The 2015 Phoenix also gets a new graphics scheme and is available in six new colour options – Crimson Black, Midnight Black, Red Hot, Cherry White, Black Magic and White Night.

Features
The 2015 Phoenix 125 comes with a host of new features such as – body-coloured grab rail, LED pilot lamps, fully digital speedo console that features a tachometer, tubeless tires and hazard lamps. Another highlight of the bike’s features list is the new ‘vehicle locator’ key. Much like the system we saw on the Mahindra Centuro, the ‘vehicle locator’ key for the Phoenix helps you find your bike in a crowded parking lot or dark area.
Specs
Mechanically, the Phoenix remains unchanged and continues to be powered by the 124,5cc single-cylinder Ecothrust engine that powers the outgoing model. This engine has a maximum power of 11PS and a peak torque of 10.8Nm. The 2015 Phoenix gets gas-charged rear shock absorbers.
